Freebirds World Burrito is a fast-growing burrito chain headquartered in Austin, Texas and opening locations across Texas. We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support all aspects of the hourly recruiting process. This position is responsible for hiring Tribe members who embody our company values and champion a positive culture. The TA Coordinator is responsible for supporting New Restaurant Openings (NRO’s) and supporting our growth strategy. The most impactful metrics for this position is maintaining staffing levels and improving retention in the restaurants.


We run on an EOS model, where everyone is working towards the same goals. All positions focus on key quarterly objectives and accountabilities. The main accountabilities for this job are

2. Maintaining Job Postings

3. Field Recruiting

4. Reporting hourly metrics to operations team and TA Manager

Responsibilities

  • Support hourly Tribe staffing levels by collaborating closely with restaurant managers and the TA team
  • Full cycle recruiting including source, screen, interview and making hiring decisions for hourly restaurant crew positions
  • Proactively build pipeline of candidates for restaurant Tribe members
  • Post, maintain, and manage multiple job boards like LinkedIn, indeed, and Harris ATS
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Provide best-in-class candidate experience by creating a friendly environment of welcoming and inclusivity
  • Build collaborative relationships and become a brand ambassador to build local partnerships and increase community engagement
  • Represent the company through field recruiting, at job fairs, and at hiring events
  • Build and maintain High School and University relationships
  • Report on hourly metrics and drive restaurant manager performance (time to fill, job posting spend, turnover, retention)
  • Build restaurant relationships through weekly and monthly touchpoints
  • Support the hiring needs of New Restaurant Openings
  • Complete varied quarterly projects
  • Champion the Freebirds Mission, Vision, and Values, contribute to the culture of positivity, and follow the best-in-class company standards
  • Provide administrative support for other Talent Acquisition team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in HR, Business, psychology, or related fields, preferred
  • Preferred 2+ years of recruiting experience in the restaurant, retail or hospitality field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of proactive sourcing techniques using social media and experience using LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook to identify and engage talent
  • Strong internet search and social networking skills that enables one to build a consistent and sustainable talent pipeline
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must be proactive with strong sense of urgency, time management, and display teamwork
  • Position based in office, but 15% travel will be required
