HIREQUEST DIRECTis seeking a Pusher (Pipe Yard)at our Odessa, TX location.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Must have experience working in a pipe yard environment.
- Ability to develop good working knowledge of inventory control techniques and procedures.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to accurately verify incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Ability to correctly read work orders and instructions a must.
- Previous Pipe Yard Pusher experience required.
- Ability to read, write and speak English required.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean background
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick, check, bundle and load pipes and crates on trucks.
- Ensure orders are picked accurately and completely
- Follow the proper TWL procedures as outlined for and picking pipe.
- Put away pipe bundles and crates in proper bin locations as required.
- Replenish picking bins as necessary.
- Prepare, Pick and bundle pipe for loading.
- Maintain a clean and safe yard environment.
- Work on any given “special” assignments.
- Able to visualize and safely load a flatbed boom truck based on product to go on the truck
- Assist in warehouse functions as requested
- Any other duties as requested
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Overtime
