Reporting to the Director, of Restaurant Systems & Support, the Senior Manager, Deployment Services will support the deployment of new technology across the Inspire Brands portfolio of restaurants. The Senior Manager works closely with their own team and the project stakeholders to implement the IT solutions and process to roll out solutions to large-scale restaurant chains. The focus is on establishing repeatable processes and systems for plug-and-play implementations regardless of brand or technology. This individual will help develop and maintain relationships needed to influence and drive projects with external vendors as well as internally within the IT organization.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the hardware deployment work stream of projects across all restaurant brands from inception through closure (this will include full-time employees, individual contractors, and vendor management).
  • Work with vendors to ensure the new, transfer, and closing processes related to restaurant technology are completed on time.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to document requirements needed to develop and build a common enrollment platform for restaurant technology.
  • Define requirements for common data exchange standards and reporting for hardware and deployment tracking.
  • Create and implement a process and system for tracking, managing, and reporting on hardware lifecycle across brands including building new project requests for end-of-life replacements well in advance to replace before out of compliance.
  • Develop and implement a common customer satisfaction survey and tracking solution for all deployment activities to help monitor vendor and team performance

  • Setting smart goals with key measurable results tied to business objectives and providing reviews on regular basis for the team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (Field and Internal Operations teams, commercial services, IT) and partners (licensees, franchisees, vendors)
  • Support the identification and relationship management of third-party vendors and systems for the Deployment team. Building relationships to influence and drive projects with vendors as well as internally within the IT organization to gain alignment, support, or guidance as needed
  • Ensure medium/long-term projects are implemented
  • Regular weekly budget reporting and management of projects and run lights on
  • Other important duties and responsibilities as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware deployments and implementation of applications infrastructure or databases related to restaurant operations and associated technologies.
  • Minimum 5 years in a franchisee-facing role at a corporation
  • Minimum 5 years of proven ability to oversee collaborative programs with executives, business owners, and vendors, on complex technology initiatives, which bear tangible results.

  • Excellent Team orientation and positive attitude.
  • Working knowledge and existing relationships with restaurant industry-leading technology vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills are required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Must be a clear and concise communicator.
  • Must have the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of the organization in written, verbal & telephone forms of communication.
  • Must have good problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions based on data and stakeholder feedback.

  • Must have expert-level skills with the Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word
  • Analyze problems and escalate issues in a timely manner for quick resolution
  • Excellent management & analytical expertise, including the ability to manage projects and processes that cross organizational lines
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude working with people and dealing with issues
