What You Will Be Doing
- Chair configuration control board review meetings prior to release
- Possess a thorough understanding of the functional aspects of software development, testing, quality assurance, and process improvement
- Use Git to manage to merge multiple simultaneous software updates into a software baseline used for formal testing
- Provide expertise and direction in all areas of CM/DM including planning documentation, configuration, change request management, status accounting, and reporting
- Perform compliance audits for all CM/DM practices for all Configuration Items across training devices, document deficiencies, and develop corrective action plans
What's In It for You
- Extensive knowledge of software version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience preparing software release documentation.
- Configuration and Data Management experience with military products and services
- Understanding of Data Management process and relationship to CDRLs, SDRLs, and Data Rights
- Excellent understanding of development, test, integration, and release concepts and practices
