About the Project Manager Role at Alair Homes Green Bay
They'll work directly with clients, trusted designers, and trades, to fully develop and construct amazing renovations and custom homes following our process-driven system.
What you'll do:
- You'll work directly with clients, designers, and trades to fully develop and construct amazing renovations and custom homes following our process-driven system.
- You're one of the key faces of the company. You help clients and everyone around you live a happier, healthier life through the experience you provide during their build or renovation.
- You guide clients through the decision and selection process, oversee trades, and set direction for site managers.
- No one likes surprises so you will manage the schedule, the budget process, and keep them on track.
- Provide leadership in anticipating issues and creating solutions.
- Ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness measures are met.
- Be a team player working together and having a posture of continuous process improvement.
Skills and who you are:
- Choose proper communication channels and do so with clarity and professionalism
- Time blocking, schedule management and efficiencies is critical for you (disclaimer: this is extremely important to us, and we talk about it often - getting this under control for work, leads to efficiencies that improve stress levels and time away from work)
- Quality and doing things right the first time is important to you
- Laser-precise when it comes to details, especially with construction quality control, schedules and job health of budgets and approvals/orders
- Growth minded, you want to be better tomorrow than you are today
- Ability to assess a situation, think critically through a scenario and come up with a solution
- Bonus Points: You keep a calm face that masks a brain working at warp speed solving problems, strategizing, and executing before we know it. If you have an eye and experience for architectural and interior design.
Position Requirements:
- Project management experience 4+ years
- Demonstrates proficiency in independently managing large projects and problem solving
- Client relations
- Budget and scheduling proficiency
- Raving fans, past clients, and/ or colleagues (they enjoy working with you and know they can count on you)
- Ability to use technology effectively with Office, phone/computer apps and other computer skills preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting typical construction supplies and materials, bending over, and other like duties (Its a team effort) as well as being able to work at a desk/ computer.
- Knowledge of building codes and blueprints.
