We are currently searching for a Payroll Clerk to join our team.
- Process payroll from start to finish. A payroll processing company is not used. Each step of payroll is processed in-house.
- Works with team to prepare, verify and confirm time tracking records.
- Balances payroll accounts by auditing and identifying discrepancies.
- Determines payroll liabilities by entering federal and state income and social security tax information, direct deposits, wage assignments and garnishments.
- Fulfills wage garnishment requirements by completing forms; adjusting payroll records, documenting and transmitting withholdings; negotiating with collection agencies to convert garnishments to wage assignments.
- Certify payroll, Prevailing wage
Requirements:
- Proficient with Excel
- Detailed orientated
- Excellent time management
- Payroll Clerk experience of 2+ years
- Familiar with general accounting principals
- Data collection and reporting
- Math and numerical skills a must
- Work with a team
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
