Dubak Electrical Group is looking to add a Traveling Associate Project Manager to join our team. This individual will work closely with the Project Management team, field leaders, and customers.

The position of Traveling Associate Project Manager at Dubak Electrical Group LLC is very similar to that of a Project Manager in that it involves specialized work in managing and estimating electrical construction projects. The projects will vary in size and will be industrial in nature. This individual will assist the Project Manager in creating/finding new bidding opportunities, initiates job estimates from start to finish, plans the awarded work, executes the awarded project, monitors, and controls the project, and finally closes the project out with the assistance of other departments. This position would be a career path to a Project Manager role n the future.

The Traveling Associate Project Manager in conjunction with a Project Manager, will be the single point of accountability for the delivery of projects, including design (where applicable), scope, cost & schedule. Additionally, this individual is responsible for providing overall direction of projects involving Industrial Electrical Construction & Maintenance. The position includes developing new business opportunities with customers in various market sectors and geographical areas. Project sizes will typically range from $500K to $10 MM.

Strong predictors of success for a Traveling Associate Project Manager would be to eventually, through training and practice as well as mentoring, estimate project costs confidently and accurately within the bid cycle time, have direct and confident interaction with field personnel, excellent communication skills with the client and fellow employees. This individual will need to manage project timelines, schedules, and ensure budgets are met. The willingness to learn, be adaptable, and work well within a team is highly important.

Key Skill Requirements:

• Position will be stationed on one project site, with additional travel as necessary.
• Strong attitude of support of the Field execution team, the site project leader, foreman, and craft team.
• Strong leadership: ability to lead by example
• A desire to learn and grow in the electrical industrial industry
• Self-Starter and the willingness to demonstrate the ability to manage projects to successful completion.
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm
• Ability to grow into a mentor/leader/go-to person
• Effective communication, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to draft comprehensive, detailed project schedules to keep project on track
• Organization and time management skills are crucial
• Must work well within a team to achieve shared goals
• Ability to put the customer first and service their needs as you would want to be serviced
• Previous Associate Project Manager experience (1+ years preferred)
• Previous electrical knowledge within the construction industry
