Position Summary
This purpose of this role is to test products for their final quality control review.
The Opportunity
The Test Operator/Assembler will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products in our manufacturing site. Key responsibilities include using our HSE guidelines and policies to test products for conformance, safety and quality control. You will also be expected to read blueprints and diagrams, and support inventory accuracy.
This role involves using a wide range of skills such as using hand and electric tools, operating machinery and computers, reading wiring diagrams and also inspecting components used for assembly.
Experience Requirements
2-5 years’ experience preferred in a manufacturing environment and a Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
Have working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job: PC skills, DVM and hand tools
Understanding of direct and alternating currents, electrical safety and ability to troubleshoot low-voltage DC wiring, use a multi-meter to check for continuity and assemble/dissasemble wiring harness and connectors
The Successful Candidate
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting equipment up to 25 pounds
Will have extreme attention to detail and superior organisational skills
Will have strong communication skills
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team to resolve issues
