The Team Lead – Electronic Health Records will oversee and supervise by applying their knowledge of healthcare and clinical applications to administer, demonstrate, implement, train and support various critical systems. S/he works with managers and staff from ambulatory offices to develop processes and workflows which adhere to written ECW, IT standards and best practices, and fully tests and documents to assure expected results. Candidate will use extensive analytical and troubleshooting skills to carry out their primary responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be able to:
Lead and work with ambulatory analysts to determine system and procedural causes of problems and quickly find resolutions due to expert knowledge- Assist with prioritizing tasks and projects throughout the Electronic Health Record (EHR) team
- Analyze, develop, configure, test and implement electronic health record (EHR) software and related analytics, with minimal supervision
- Develop, support and maintain applications utilized to support the systems and clinical objectives of the organization
- Work with healthcare teams in operational and organizational analysis to identify areas of needed improvement
- Monitor department functions ensuring services are compliant with professional standards and state/federal regulations
- Work with EHR Directors/Managers to provide education/training to the staff for EHR systems
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of patient electronic protected health information (ePHI) and departmental documents
- Additional leadership functions/roles may be assigned as necessary
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an ambulatory systems analyst in large scale EHR implementations- Strong working knowledge of eClinicalWorks ambulatory EHR application
- Strong working knowledge of clinical terminology
- Previous experience using computer tools in a clinical setting is required
- Previous knowledge of ECW interfaces a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- General knowledge of medical group operations
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of general principles of information systems and computer usage.
- Knowledge of hospital healthcare, ambulatory services and managed healthcare systems
