General Description: This position is in the shipping department for our foundry & manufacturing company. For this position you will be responsible for the packing and shipping of material nationally and around the globe. This may require pallet or box building.
Specific Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include any or all of the following:
- Acquiring the proper part and inspection data
- Make the proper box or pallet
- Clean and deburr the parts when needed
- Identify the parts when required
- Clean the shipping area
- Load and unload semi-trucks
This position requires an able bodied person who is able to lift as much as 100 lbs. with repetitive lifting and twisting. You must be able to perform overhead crane operation safely.
Ideal Candidate will also have:
1 year related experience in shipping/receiving, manufacturing and/or warehousing.
Knowledge of manufacturing shipping procedures.
Have good problem-solving skills.
Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Be organized.
