Job Purpose and Impact

Senior Export Corn Oil Trader will be a cash and slate trader conducting face to face and remote selling to both new and existing customers. In this role, you will independently generate income and control risks by performing more complex trading work, with a higher risk tolerance. Key Accountabilities

Apply a deep comprehension of trading practices and procedures to develop and execute the long-term trading strategies and books for a specific commodity, market or customer based on speculative and hedged positions.
Monitor our team’s profit and loss on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Independently handle and monitor higher trading positions and exposures. This desk manages a 2.7 Myn Usd VAR limit trading CBOT SBO Futures as well as 6PortSun paper.
Trade all CSST’s physical refined and crude export Corn Oil from the US Gulf. Responsible for a sizable CNF book into the Middle East, thus also being responsible for our ocean freight position.
Work with strategic brokers, customers and agents, as needed, to manage and monitor higher risk trading positions.
Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor. Supporting the PLM in the development of CSST traders.
Owns the SND for corn oil. Collaborates with other GEOS and CASC Traders aligning on prices of all substitute oils.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong cash trading experience.
Experience managing complex supply chains and logistics.
Flat price trading experience.
Experience working across several functions and businesses.
Experience coaching and influencing others.
Experience managing supply and demand.
Experience managing key account customers.
