A day in the life – Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
- Manage complex and constantly changing calendar, prioritizing meetings based on importance/urgency and taking into consideration leadership needs for preparation and travel time.
- Help prepare leaders for meetings by proactively gathering/organizing material (e.g., binders, handouts).
- Prepare, maintain and organize digital files, including presentations, correspondence, documents and other materials, to ensure the PPM leadership team is able to retrieve and gain access to necessary materials in an organized manner.
- Oversee and manage departmental projects and support Safety & Work Environment Committee (SWEC) team.
- Process expense reports, purchase orders, procurement and requisitions, timekeeping, and invoices utilizing SAP. Reconcile data (e.g., invoices, credit card statements, spreadsheet data, etc.), identify inconsistencies and inaccuracies, and take needed corrective action.
- Coordinate routine to large scale cross-functional meetings and events, including department and division all hands meetings.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive and private information in a responsible manner.
- Provide support for special projects or assignments: take and distribute minutes; monitor, track, and follow up on action items to ensure completion and commitment to deadlines; collect data, analyze, draft, proofread, edit, and format documents, spreadsheets, and reports as well as coordinate and prepare presentation materials.
The essentials
- Three or more years of successful experience performing administrative, secretarial, and clerical functions.
- Two or more years of utilizing Microsoft’s suite of office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
The preferred
- Experience with Microsoft’s suite of office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at an advanced level.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Compiled information and entered data into computer applications.
- Performed with minimal supervision, worked well under pressure to meet changing deadlines, and possess excellent organizational skills.
- Experience processing purchase requests, contracts, and invoices.

- Work Mode: The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
