The successful candidate will join 3 existing commercial analysts who sit within the wider Business Intelligence function, and be the sole analyst dedicated to supporting the Managed Services side of the business. [Managed Services consists of a sales team of ~30 people across the UK and the US, and is the part of MOO which looks after larger customer accounts. ~30% of MOO revenue comes from this part of the business]

The Sales & CRM Analyst is a newly created, highly visible and influential role. The successful candidate will serve as a thought partner to MOO's leaders across the sales and CRM teams and will support these teams with relevant and timely analysis and support.

This role will report to the Director of Business Intelligence, occasional local and overseas travel may be required.

In collaboration with business stakeholders, this person will be proactive in identifying and analysing trends, risks and opportunities, and advocating for strategic and operational actions across sales and CRM marketing activities.

Whilst maintaining a customer-centric approach, the successful candidate will contribute to MOO's profitability and revenue growth initiatives through results-orientated analysis and will collaborate widely to put ideas into action.


Responsibilities:

  • Integrate with the B2B sales and CRM teams to "live and breathe" their goals and objectives
  • Maximize customer lifetime value by reducing churn and increasing product cross sell
  • Guide/assist team in the preparation of data and insights to support executive-level decision making and sales/marketing leadership meetings
  • Ensure reporting and dashboards serve all levels of the Sales organization and CRM team (Salesforce and Tableau)
  • Assess and prioritize ad hoc analytic project requests and determine the best approach and team members to support
  • Build a strong internal network of experts and resources that can help drive effective change (teams including but not limited to: Sales Operations, Data Engineering, Technology & Product, Finance, Category Management and Channel Marketing)
  • Package and present recommendations to management through a balance of quantitative analysis and qualitative outside-in perspectives)
  • Deliver a monthly performance review assessment to key members of MOO's leadership team outlining MTD, QTD and YTD performance across a variety of measures by region and segment
  • Support sales target development and regional planning efforts
  • Improve B2B marketing by optimizing lead generation and lead scoring, and pushing for an optimal lead nurture path
  • Implement early warning systems to help lead the growth of the business (customer churn, unsubscribe rates, win/loss analysis, net discounting etc)

About You:

  • We are seeking an experienced Analyst capable of balancing multiple priorities with minimal oversight while developing a close partnership with key stakeholders
  • Experience working within a B2B sales environment
  • Ability to translate business objectives into goals and measurements
  • Able to calculate and use CLTV as a KPI and apply to different metrics like marketing spend optimisation or churn
  • A knack for "telling stories" resulting from your analysis in ways that sales leaders and other functions resonate with
  • Ability to independently drive planning, analysis, collaboration and communication for complex analytical projects
  • Excitement and ability to learn new tools and advance analytical capabilities quickly and a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills (advanced Excel and planning/forecasting tools) and expertise with Salesforce (CRM)
  • Exhibited success in either creating or optimising a B2B lead strategy
  • The ability to manager projects from multiple stakeholders with shifting priorities

Nice To Haves:

  • The ideal candidate will have data mining, data visualisation and SQL capabilities and experience working in Tableau
  • Experience working with Salesforce adjacent platforms such as Pardot and Groove
  • Experience working with employees across multiple time zones and locations
  • Experience working within an e-commerce environment
  • Experience with sales team commission management and design
