Onsite at first and then it could move to a hybrid position with alternating 2 to 3 days in the office each week based on a set schedule to allow for social distancing.

Job description :

Duties:

To lead integrated, complex, or cross-departmental claims handling, administration, and reporting as relates to insurance program. Develops statistical and qualitative Risk Management reports based on analysis of existing data to reflect historical trends relating to insurance program.

• Develops and maintains reports, including the loss runs documenting current/historical financial claims activity and trends for presentation to upper level management, Risk Management and Insurance Committee, Insurance Company Ltd (CTCHICO) Board, insurance underwriters and hospital committees as requested by the Director of Risk Management.
• Manages the reporting of claims activity on a monthly basis to appropriate hospital committees, actuaries and auditors as

reviewed and approved by the Director of Risk Management.

• Manages the reporting of the D&O and Employment Practices Liability claims activity on a biannual basis to insurer and on a regular basis to the Risk Management and Insurance Committee as reviewed and approved by the Director of Risk Management.

Provides appropriate insurance certificates for all entities as requested and required for credentialing needs.

Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Proofreading skills required.

Skills:

• Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is knowledge of risk and safety management functions and an

in-depth knowledge of the web-based software utilized by each department, along with process improvement techniques.

• Familiarity with medical, business and community environments and collaborative efforts, risk financing and insurance is desired.
• Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is the ability to competently utilize multiple computer

software systems for database management, data analysis and effective communication skills with all levels of management.

• Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills; the ability to analyze data and processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be proficient in use of Excel spreadsheets and graphing.

Education:

Required- H.S. Diploma or GED
Required- 5 years experience in worker's compensation and/or professional liability claims, brokerage account service, or analytics

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Houston, TX 77030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
