Resident Advisor - Men's Transitional Living Program Job at Hale Kipa, Inc..
Hale Kipa is looking for a Resident Advisor to work and live in our Transitional Living Program for young men who are transitioning out of homelessness. Resident Advisors are expected to be onsite 7 days a week during the hours stated below; providing support, guidance and assisting the young men with independent living and social skill building; and being available in the event there is a need. Sleeping is allowed, with a required bed check during the night to ensure the young men are safe and accounted for. Although the residents are adults, there are rules and some structures that they are expected to follow. The Resident Advisor assists with ensuring those rules/structures are adhered to.
The Resident Advisor also works with the Program Coordinator who provides oversight and case management services for the residents. Some computer knowledge is required, as Resident Advisors will need to enter notes into the electronic health record for each resident.
Resident Advisors are provided with free room & basic utilities as well as an hourly wage and benefits.
The shifts are Sunday through Thursday from 8 pm to 6 am and Friday and Saturday from 10 pm to 6 am.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with youth/young adults is highly preferred.
Requirements: Driver’s license, current auto insurance, safety check, and access to a vehicle.
