R&D and Manufacturing Technician - Assembler Job at Rorze Automation, Inc.
Job Duties and Responsibility:
R&D type system integration to install robots, tracks, cable harnesses, controller boxes, power distribution boxes, fan filter units (FFU's)
Soldering / Crimping cable harnesses
Level, teach, and run cycle tests for systems before final QC
Assist in developing the project schedule from a manufacturing perspective; create specifications and engineering drawings for components made in-house, sheet metal and sub-assemblies.
Assist Materials Procurement group in creating DMR’s,
Assist in ECO release
Assist Customer Support Engineers in resolving RMA issues and successful repair of units
Receive priorities and work instructions from Supervisor and complete assigned tasks on time
Follow company Safety procedures and best practices on the manufacturing floor and Clean room.
Other duties as assigned
Required job skills:
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams a must
Ability to read and understand mechanical work assembly a must
Computer proficiency, including expertise with the Microsoft Excel and Word
Proficiency in using manufacturing tools, electrical test equipment like digital volt meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Attention to detail, organized, and follows safety protocols as instructed
Experience in Semiconductor manufacturing a plus
Experience with 5S Lean Manufacturing a plus
Experience with CAD design software is a plus
Ability to multitask, and prioritize work to meet all required deadlines
Strong time management skills
Ability to interact effectively as part of a team
Ability to focus for extended periods on detailed and highly technical work
Ability to assist team members in lifting heavy equipment
Educational Qualifications and professional experience:
Requires an AS or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
(Salary generally negotiable depending on experience)
