Skillset / Experience:
Quality Assurance Engineer will analyze designs and code to better understand features to help client deliver quality software.
This Engineer will test code manually and with automated tools using black box and white box testing techniques.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will also be involved in writing test frameworks those used for automating feature testing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and build automation frameworks and tests for regression test suites
- Maintain and update automated test systems as functionality changes
- Analyze failures and collaborate with Software Engineers to ensure root cause is investigated.
- Perform Manual testing and other duties needed as part of the overall Quality Testing Team
- Review and analyze data requirements, software requirements and design specifications to ensure proper test coverage
- Partner with and oversee vendors/contractors to train and ensure UPR software testing practices are correctly applied.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established client policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
