We are looking for a qualified Preschool Teacher for our 3 year old classroom. We are a Nationally Accredited, smaller location with a family atmosphere. The goal of this teacher is to prepare children for Pre K. The successful preschool teacher will have the ability to engage them, earn their trust and attention and contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of each child. Successful classroom management experience is preferred. We prefer to interview applicants who have already been in a professional preschool setting and are already in the state of Florida. Position available April 1st.

Hours for this position are 7:30-4:30 M-F.

This is a FULL TIME position available for applicants who have the following:

DCF 45 hours

CDA or Staff Credential

CPR/First Aid

Background screening.

Reliable transportation

Duties for this position include:

• Weekly Lesson planning using our own Kid City USA curriculum
• Create a loving, caring learning environment where each child can thrive.
• Supervise children properly to ensure they are safe at all times.
• Communicate with the director and parents regularly on child progress.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
• Room organization and monthly activity/message board updates.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Pre School Teacher.
• Good communication and instructional skills.
• Loving, Friendly, and reliable.
• Good handwriting skills.
• fast on your feet, ability to get up and down quickly.
