JusticeTrax, a Versaterm Public Safety company, has been a quality provider of Laboratory Information Management Solutions to forensic laboratories since 1995. Headquartered in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa, Arizona, we have the honor of serving some of the most sophisticated Law Enforcement Agencies and Crime Laboratories in North America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. We also provide data migration, custom report development, and specialized training.

JusticeTrax software is installed in nearly 200 forensic operations on six continents. Our LIMS-plus, LIMS-plus DNA, LIMS-plus Portal, ChainLinx, and other software solutions were designed by experienced forensic scientists and built for the criminal justice arena by our staff of computer engineers. Our applications are also constantly enhanced from the input of our staff and thousands of criminalists currently using the applications.

The Role

The basic function of the Platform Support Specialist is to install and troubleshoot JusticeTrax software in customer and internal environments. The Platform Support Specialist also functions as 2nd Tier support for technical issues reported by customers.

Along with the required credentials you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment. You have experience in Forensic or Law Enforcement. You are a master at balancing multiple priorities and are naturally focused on providing exceptional levels of client service and being able to communicate openly with team members. Microsoft Certified Solution Developer or Microsoft Certified Professional is an asset.

What You'll Bring

• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, and IIS
• Familiarity with the virtual system setup and configuration (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)
• IIS and web product installation and troubleshooting experience
  
• Practical networking experience (Microsoft Certifications preferred)
• Working knowledge of Crystal Reports, and proficiency with Crystal Reports preferred
• At least two years of experience dealing directly with customers and a proven track record of increasing responsibility
• At least two years’ computer industry work experience, and telephone technical support or help desk are required. Network support and database experience preferred
