PRN PHARMACIST – COMMUNITY HEALTH MAIL ORDER PHARMACY
Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC; is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist for our Community Health Pharmacy in Colchester, VT. We are looking for a compassionate and flexible Pharmacist to join our team at Community Health. Prior retail pharmacy experience is required, and mail order is preferred, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment. Current/Clear VT Pharmacist licensure required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Under general direction, ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for the pharmacy; dispenses prescribed medications; may provide functional supervision of support staff.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. D, from an approved school of pharmacy
- Registration by the state of Vermont board of licensure.
Experience:
- One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Knowledge of polices and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
- Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.
- Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements (if applicable).
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
