Patient Coordinator Job at Virginia Total Sleep

Virginia Total Sleep is growing and looking to hire a professional Patient Coordinator at our Glen Allen, VA office. Virginia Total Sleep is Richmond's only practice focused entirely on treating sleep apnea and orofacial pain. We are a specialty referral clinic and work closely with patients' dentists and physicians to manage their health needs.
Basic responsibilities include:
- Ensuring patients have all required medical records on file
- Collecting copays/deductible
- Presenting financial estimates with patients
- Communicating with other medical/dental offices
- Appointment scheduling
- Answering phones
Minimum job requirements:
- Must have outstanding work attendance
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with an EHR system
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong math skills
- Professional communication skills, and confidence when reviewing treatment costs with patients
- Energetic team player who is comfortable cross training in other office positions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
