Summary:

The Painter / Maintenance Tech is responsible for the minor repairs, refinishing, painting, and staining of all areas interior and exterior as assigned. While the focus of the position is on painting, The Painter/Maintenance tech will support operations with repair and maintenance of the facility within their knowledge base. The Painter / Maintenance tech is also responsible for on-call rotation support for emergency maintenance on off-hours.

Responsibilities:

• Paint interior and exterior of buildings, equipment, and surfaces with the ability to prioritize scheduled workload and attention to detail.

• Clean and prep areas for painting including light drywall repair.

• Operate and maintain appropriate equipment and tools for painting and maintenance repairs.

• Plan, organize, and lay out assigned tasks.

• Conduct basic facility repairs work orders and preventive work orders as assigned and addresses issues outside of scope with preferred vendors.

Other information:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Relevant experience with painting and/or facility maintenance.

• Basic computer skills required

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
