Mercy San Juan’s Definitive Observation unit is a 23 bed unit also known as 5North. We are a medical telemetry unit caring for a diverse population of patients. This dynamic unit utilizes all of the evidence-based practices of the Nursing Bundle to maximize the patient experience. This unit prides itself in its teamwork, and friendly hard working staff.

The incumbent provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally. The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy San Juan Medical Center and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- 1 year RN experience in an acute care hospital
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification
Preferred:
- Arrhythmia certified
Pay Range
$63.38 - $76.97 /hour
