What you would do:

Performs various material handling duties manually or with the use of a hand truck or power lift truck to supply assembly areas with materials required for assembly.

• Assists in unloading trucks and processing necessary paperwork to receive parts/materials as necessary.
• Loads materials as necessary and prepares materials for transport to assembly area.
• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to determine materials to be moved and appropriate assembly area.
• Delivers materials to appropriate assembly area using hand truck or power lift truck, or by hand as necessary.
• Performs quality checks.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities and supports the environmental, health and safety program.

What We Ask of You:

• You have a High School Diploma or GED
• Some technical school training (or equivalent wok experience)
• You have 1-3 years of prior relevant assembly experience within a manufacturing facility
• You have strong mechanical and electrical skills and the ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic, and work instructions
• You are flexible and a team player
• You have the ability and knowledge to use various types of hand and power tools.
• You have great attention to detail and organization skills, as well as problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
• You’re easy to work with and have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• You’re willing to work overtime hours, as required to meet business needs
• You are able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs., twist, turn, climb, stoop, kneel, push loads, pull on pipe wrenches and work in awkward positions.
