Master Planner with Secret Clearance (Marietta, GA)
This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in Marietta, GA. Candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule. This is a 6 month contract with a high chance or extending/converting. Compensation is $
22-130 hourly on W2.(Contracts do not include benefits) Due to being in the US Defense industry there is a
requirement for US Citizenship and an ACTIVE SECRET Clearance. (
Sorry no exceptions such as 3rd parties, 1099, education visas etc)
Duties for this role include:
- Proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
- Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost.
- Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs.
- Utilize Critical Path Methodology and apply it in schedule network development and analysis.
- Develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Interact across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production.
- Prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required.
- Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.
Ideal Background:
- Must be self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands on experience.
- Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations.
- Experience with Critical Path
- Experience in schedule control processes, proposal development, internal & external audits, and project management integration
- Must have experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input
- Possess ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
- Able to work 100% onsite in Marietta, GA
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
Big Pluses:
- Experience working independently across Technical Teams developing a basic level understanding of the technical product
- Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions
- Experience in Proposals
- Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
- Comments for Suppliers: This is not a Maintenance Scheduler position.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in related field.
