AS A MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL:

• Direct supervision of manufacturing associates, including test and SMT groups.
• Conduct performance reviews of manufacturing associates.
• Maintain accountability of manufacturing associates.
• Structure workflow (prioritization).
• Manage product schedules.
• Ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
• Identify and submit changes for process improvements.
• Assist other supervisors/managers in their duties, ensuring company goals and objectives are met.
• Maintain a safe and respected work environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in manufacturing
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Supervisor experience
• Proven leadership skills and experience
• MS Office experience
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Team-oriented with the ability to motivate associates
• Experience with training, performance reviews, job planning, etc.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in electronic manufacturing
• Knowledge of ISO standards and IPC-610 preferred
• Supervisor experience: either as a lead or in a supervisor role
• Knowledge of 5S and safety requirements.

Schedule
Depending on the assignment, the facility works both a 4-day work week and a 5-day work week. Most
jobs provide service and support to a specific shift, although some jobs provide support across both
shifts.

Our shift schedules are:
First 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday
(overtime is required, including Fridays)
Second 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday – Thursday
(overtime is required, including Fridays)

Our Cold Chain business unit is the leading provider of electronic controls and optimization services for
supermarket, convenience store, restaurant, and refrigerated transportation customers, and the OEMs
that serve them. The business unit is comprised of multiple acquisitions organized to add value to
Emerson’s world-leading products through control, connectivity, and remote monitoring. The business
generates half of its revenue outside of North America and employs over 1,200 people globally.
Headquartered in the Greater Atlanta area, the business has major operations in Minnesota, Italy,
Mexico, Brazil, China, and the Philippines. The Cold Chain business helps ensure that food safely and
