North West Rubber is a rapidly growing company celebrating its 52nd anniversary this year. Our primary business recycles scrap tires into heavy duty rubber mats. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to increase the size of our maintenance department at our Houston, Texas manufacturing facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• · Responsible for trouble shooting of machinery to minimize down time; acts with a High level of Urgency to on-floor calls and emergencies.
• · Responsible for working within/assisting in the development & implementation of PM programs and equipment upgrades.
• · Record and document time, work order completion information and parts usage on CMMS work order system. Create work orders and assist in the planning of jobs and projects
• · Troubleshoot industrial process electrical equipment including motor control, PLC and relay control systems, building, lighting and power distribution
• · Understand and troubleshoot AC & DC variable speed motor control drive systems. Specifically Variable Frequency Drives

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• · 10 Years Experience
• · Valid 442A Industrial Electrician , or a 309A Electrician with Industrial experience
• · Ability to read and interpret electrical code, drawings, manuals and schematics.
• · Operate forklifts, scissor and boom lifts and other mobile equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $31.00 - $32.00 per hour
