POSITION SUMMARY
The Adobe Care & Wellness Physician Relations Manager (PRM) should possess strong business acumen and outstanding communication skills with an aptitude to develop in-depth expertise in virtual and in-person engagement settings, establish and build impactful relationships and exhibit strong promotional skills. The PRM is also responsible for establishing and fostering a healthy working relationship between identified physician practices, provider engagement partners, and Adobe Care Team. The PRM will collaborate with the providers, quality team, and clinical teams to improve and support provider engagement.
The PRM will report to our Phoenix office (Glendale Ave and 16th St) and will support our Team of Physician Relations Representatives in AZ and NV. As the PRM, there will be required travel throughout AZ and NV to support the team and host events to build and develop relations with providers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages a Team of Physician Relations Representatives in Arizona and Nevada.
- Serves as the Quality Improvement subject matter expert between provider groups and the Plan in coordination with key provider engagement partners.
- Acts as an ongoing resource to providers for quality improvement via regular touchpoints and meetings.
- Collects, summarizes, and delivers provider-quality performance data to strategize/coach on opportunities for provider improvement and gap closure.
- Supports the development and implementation of quality improvement interventions in relation to Plan providers.
- Documents action plans and details of office visits and outcomes and reports critical incidents and information regarding quality-of-care issues, communication concerns, etc.
- Participates in and represents plan at community, health department, collaborative, and other organizational meetings focusing on quality improvement, member education, and disparity programs, as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience in the clinical setting or managed care setting and patient-driven customer service and interaction is required.
- Excellent presentation skills, interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills to target audience.
- Strong relationship-building skills, multitasking, prioritization, and solutions-oriented.
- Strong strategic thinking, critical thinking, analytical ability, and verbal, and written communication skills to target audience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare delivery.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree preferred – in Healthcare, Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to drive long distances, which may require a two-hour radius of your designated county (travel time is paid and mileage reimbursement is available).
- Must be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions, including members’ homes, physicians’ offices, cold conditions, and hot conditions.
- Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting 30 lbs., transporting materials, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use of hands, balancing, walking, standing, talking, hearing, and typing.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
