Back of House Team Member

As a BOH team member of Neptunes we are offering a position in a very unique kitchen and encourage you expand on your existing kitchen knowledge and/or teach you a few new things. At Neptunes we provide both casual dining fair as well as specialty and simplistic sushi. We have two kitchen lines and you will be required to learn both our hot side as well as sushi. Before we move you to cooking and rolling you will be required to learn our prep list. We make everything we can in house and from scratch when reasonable. Our prep team is essential to our kitchen and it will get you started on knowing our menu and what goes into it. We have both hot line prep and sushi prep and you will be doing both as a BOH team member.

After Appropriate Training is Complete Your tasks will include:

• Hot Line Prep Work
• Sushi Line Prep Work
• Following instructions and recipes as they are written.
• Writing/Adding to the prep list.
• Prioritizing prep work as needed.
• Working all hot line stations: fryers, grill, saute, expediting food
• Making rice.
• Rolling sushi.
• Butchering fish.
• Helping out with dish pit whenever possible.
• Put away product orders when delivered.
• Serve quality and consistent food.
• Work with team members to close and clean the kitchen.
• Cleaning projects as assigned.

We require you to:

• Follow recipes and take direction.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Wear non slip kitchen shoes
• Work with a positive attitude.
