Union Pay and Benefits

We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of residential remodeling projects, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Lead Carpenter will be expected to manage a team of carpenters, delegate tasks, and ensure that all safety regulations are followed. A successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. We are a Union contractor and candidate must be willing to join the Carpenters Union if hired.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, floors, trim and hardware.
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Customer service skills and have the ability speak to homeowners.
• Provide guidance to apprentices and other carpenters.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $39.03 per hour
