Club Jet Charter is a growing, private jet company located at Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, MN. We are currently seeking a DYNAMIC LEADER to manage a team of dedicated and passionate professionals as our new Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician. This is a full-time, Mon-Fri, daytime position that would be based out of our headquarters in Eden Prairie. Along with managing our loyal team, this individual would also be responsible for keeping our floating fleet of aircraft, located across the United States, in excellent and safe working order following FAA regulations in all inspections, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and any necessary repairs.

Position Summary:

• Directly responsible to the Director of Maintenance
• Coordinate daily maintenance tasks and events with a team of 6-8 Maintenance Techs assuring that all work accomplished by your crew is in accordance with the Company Manuals and applicable FARs
• Lead, direct and give on the job training to maintenance personnel
• Assure that the work area and equipment used by your crew is adequate and kept in a clean and orderly condition and that all safety instructions as described in our manuals are followed
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines and aircraft system
• Perform airframe, power plant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
• Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; testing of aircraft system
• Able to perform phase checks, troubleshooting and line maintenance

• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine best method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
• Modify aircraft structures, systems, or components, following drawings, engineering orders and technical publications
• Perform maintenance IAW FAA approved technical data
• Follow all FAA guidelines when performing maintenance tasks
• Find, troubleshoot and fix problems that have been reported by pilots
• Help coordinate and facilitate off-site maintenance for aircraft located away from home base
• Keep accurate records of work performed
• Work or facilitate with crews, overtime or on-call weekend shifts as needed

• Exhibit a willingness to travel or coordinate with your crew on site maintenance of aircraft if necessary

• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the DOM

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to document maintenance performed on required forms in a clear and concise manner
• Must have knowledge of materials, methods, tools and equipment
• High level of organization, attention to detail and can prioritize and manage your team and time effectively while working cohesively and independently
• Flexible and adaptable to change priorities as needed
• A valid clear driver's license
• Applicant must pass FAA DOT Drug Test prior to hiring

Education and Experience:

• A&P license and IA required with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years management experience preferred
