WFH-Remote Intake Specialist - Medical Assistant ($16/hr)

Summary:

• Actalent is hiring healthcare experienced/degreed Medical Assistant and/or Pharmacy tech professional in support of a large healthcare insurance provider for a Remote Intake Specialist opportunity!

• Are you a Indiana based healthcare professional (CMA or Pharmacy Tech) with 3+ years of patient facing experience seeking a Work-From-Home, REMOTE - DAY SHIFT opportunity? As a Remote Patient Intake Specialists, you will support the nurses and providers with incoming patient needs or new needs from existing patients. You would be working with patients coming from in-patient, outpatient, and behavioral health settings mostly. There will be a high volume of patients (usually 30-40) that you interact with on a daily basis via phone and/or email. This is a great opportunity with an Indiana based healthcare insurance provider that is looking to expand their Patient Intake Specialist team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - MUST HAVES:

• (2-3) years experience working in a medical practice office, an urgent care, hospital, skilled nursing facility or other health care setting
• Completion of healthcare degree or medical-related training program/certification such as Medical Assistant, EMT, pharmacy tech, etc.

OR

• High School diploma or equivalent (this will need to be presented in onboarding) or certification
• Three (3) years experience working in insurance, a medical practice office, an urgent care, hospital, skilled nursing facility or other healthcare setting

Shift/Pay:

• (Day shift) Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.
• $16/hr!
