Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting sales representatives in a wide range of activities. Manage multiple, simultaneous projects in support of sales operations and engineering. Perform advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of sales organization policies and practices.

Red8 Inside Sales Support for Sales Executive

  • Creating and updating opportunities in Salesforce
  • Work with Customer, Sales Rep and SE’s to create and confirm accurate configurations
  • Create and track opportunity registrations with partners
  • Request and track vendor quotes
  • Create and track customer proposals by using our Red8 Quote Portal or utilizing correct templates for Subscription and International quotes (not currently available in the quote tool)
  • Request and track special pricing requests through partners
  • Work with Sales representative / Customer on orders with missing, incorrect or damaged equipment
  • Work with Sales Representative on any specific issues that may arise

Red8 Operations Support

  • Salesforce Opportunity and Account Updates
  • Great Plains software including the ability to prepare sales orders, purchase orders, inquiries, smart lists, Inventory Item set-up, Vendor Set-up, Customer Set-up
  • Knowledge of Quote Tool and GP Integration Process. The ability to create SO and PO through Quote Tool and in GP directly
  • Working with Credit for establishing credit and extensions, when applicable
  • Credit Apps and Resale certificates when applicable
  • Work with SE’s to approve orders prior to booking
  • Booking orders with partners which includes understanding each partners requirements and processes
  • Updated Salesforce.com w/ PO and SO details along with Book Dates, Ship Dates etc.
  • Ability to link PO’s to SO’s in Great Plains
  • Working with Lease Admin on lease orders including Red8/IFS Lease Invoices
  • Tracking order status with partners
  • Scanning all backup and adding to Box.com / Quote Portal / S Drive
  • Transferring orders to accounting once shipped
  • Work with Sales representative / Customer on orders with missing, incorrect or damaged equipment
  • Working with partner/distributor on any missing or broken equipment including RMA’s
  • Working with accounting on any vendor invoices received that don’t match our PO
  • Weekly & Monthly reports for management
  • Accurate and timely month end closing and variance report updates

Support dealings with manufacturers and reseller programs

  • Knowledge of partner programs
Qualifications / Education:
Education/Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training
Required Knowledge/ Experience Required :
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience within a VAR or direct manufacturer’s sales organization.
  • Five plus years in Client Based Products is preferred.
  • Ability and experience in analyzing sales information.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding sales strategies and support infrastructures.
  • Ability to work on a variety of projects and research related challenges.
Skills:
  • Expert proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Outlook and task management, Microsoft’s Great Plains and Salesforce.com
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory abilities. Strong project management skills, solid leadership abilities, organizational and analytical skills.
