Job Overview:

This position will ensure the integrity and reliability of all electrical, instrumentation, and control systems including installation, troubleshooting and repair of pressure transmitters and pressure switches. Additionally, this position must have a strong commitment to safety and comply with all company policies.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical and instrumentation equipment calibrate, test, inspect, operate, troubleshoot and maintain electronic devices (PLCs, transmitters, etc.)
• Perform and schedule routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and major equipment repairs
• Maintain an effective Preventative Maintenance program for instrumentation and electrical equipment
• Able to troubleshoot using P&IDs and loop diagrams
• Minor PLC programming when needed
• Troubleshoot and repair pressure transmitters and level transmitters
• Troubleshoot and repair level and pressure Switches
• Ability to troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives
• Comply with all work safety procedures
• Keep accurate records of all hours worked, inventory parts used, and services performed
• Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external customers, including company employees, customers, and outside vendors
• Properly utilize, care for, and secure all company tools, supplies, and vehicles
• Comply with all corporate policies and OSHA rules while carrying out work processes
• Successfully complete requested training classes and maintain all necessary safety certifications
• Keep work area clean, organized, and hazard free
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 3-5 years experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Experience with Ladder logic a plus
• Ability to critically think and independently problem solve
• Able to speak, write, and read English
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Able to lift, push, pull, and move at least 60 pounds
• Familiarity working with hand tools'
