Human Resources Director

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada + Salary - $99,500 - $135,000 + Relocation Assistance

Job Description:

  • The HRD is responsible for the daily operation of the facility Human Resource Department including, HR administration, employee/labor relations, regulatory compliance, compensation, benefits administration, performance management and related matters.
  • Ensure excellent HR service to all levels of employees.
  • Serve as business partner on facility Administrative Council,
  • Provide HR leadership and expertise as employee advocate, change agent, and administrative expert in people matters.
  • Member of VHS HR leadership team, provide input and recommendations on VHS HR policy and administration.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Human Resources Management.

Experience:

  • 5 - 10 years progressively responsible human resource management or related experience.
  • One year of experience in an environment with a union presence preferable.

License/Certification:

  • PHR/SPHR certification preferable

Other:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State laws as they apply to human resources management.

Technical Skills:

  • Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $99,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
