WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Coordinates and facilitates bi-weekly orientation classes
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Assists with new-employee screening process and background checks, pre-hire documentation.
- Manages employee information, runs reports and collects HR Analytics in ADP Workforce Now
- Plays a key role in various HR processes including tuition reimbursement, management of clinical licenses, employee referral program etc.
- Assists with processing of employee changes
- Assists with the preparation of key HR processes including performance reviews, employee surveys, open enrollment and more
- Assists with recruitment and interview process.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director and vice president of HR.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Takes on special HR projects as needed and assigned
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists with special projects and HR driven initiatives
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Prepares new-employee files.
- Processes mail.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUCCESS CAPABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- At least two years human resources experience required.
- SHRM-CP credential preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
