Housekeeping Room Attendant Job at The Green Bridge Inn
The room attendant will provide detailed and efficient cleaning services for all hotel rooms and outdoor public areas in addition to superb customer service to our guests. Your duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. You should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner when necessary.
This position requires working with the Housekeeping Manager to complete required daily services for hotel rooms. These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Changing bed linen and making beds.
- Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Vacuuming carpets.
- Dusting and polishing furniture.
- Emptying trash containers and ashtrays.
- Cleaning and stocking (when necessary) mini fridge in room.
- Cleaning and stocking coffee station.
- Cleaning public areas, such as corridors, stairwells and elevator.
- Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
- Updating status of guest rooms to alert Guest Services that the rooms are ready.
- Operating laundry washer & dryer, folding linens, and alerting Housekeeping Manager when new linens are needed.
