Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job at Gearhart By the Sea
We are presently looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their stay.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Checking guests in and out
- Handling customer service
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Be a town spokesperson by providing recommendations about activities, restaurants and shops.
- Process credit cards and cash payments
- Manage online, phone reservations and walk-ins
- Answer phones and accepting payments/reservations/cancellations
- Interaction with other departments
- Responding to emails
- Return phone calls
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
What you need for the role
- Customer service skills
- Fast learner
- Previous experience with dealing with guests
- Ability to work under pressure
- Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability in solving problems
- English language required
The right candidate will need to be customer service oriented, have good attention to detail and be a team player.
