Our Skilled Nursing Facility is offering a FREE, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program that allows interested candidates the opportunity to train for a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while working as a Hospitality Aide. Once you become certified as a CNA, you'll start working as a CNA and may earn up to $18.50 an hour! High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
Full-time job placement is guaranteed upon completion of the program in the same facility as your classmates! You will study together and you will work together!
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will assist patients with various activities in our skilled nursing facility under the direction of a nurse. CNAs help residents with day-to-day activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, etc. You will also administer medications and maintain patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
- changing linens
- cleaning rooms
- feeding
- grooming
- helping to move patients
- assisting with physical therapy
- dressing
- giving bed baths
- assisting with dental care
- recording patient conditions
- putting together patient packages for a discharge
- dispensing medications
- taking blood pressure
- taking vital signs
