Job Title: Hookah Waitresses

Location: Abi Hookah Lounge 810 W Arapaho Rd #62, Richardson, TX 75080

Abi Hookah Lounge is a popular hookah bar located in Richardson, TX. We are currently seeking motivated and social individuals to join our team as hookah servers. The job is fun and easy, and we offer competitive pay and a great work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work after hours (8/9 pm - 5 am)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous experience as a waitress is preferred but not required
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Running errands pertaining to the hookah lounge. Will have to be able to work after hours (until 5-6 depending on the night) and manage employees when the owner is not present.
• Maintains all assigned wardrobes/uniform in accordance with established standards and uniform guidelines. Works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service at all times.
• Performs other duties as requested. You will be in charge of a team, motivate them, take care of customers, and ensure everything is done for the shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
GUEST SERVICE/COMMUNICATION

• Greet all guests promptly, with a friendly and upbeat attitude
• Take guests' orders correctly and answer guest questions about the menu
• Make sure to constantly check on hookahs throughout the shift
• Communicate with server about special guest needs
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
• Anticipate guest needs
• Respond to guest concerns/complaints regarding hookah service or service in general and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude
• Adhere to all Abi Hookah Lounge’s Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain all Abi Hookah Lounge’s Sequence of Service Standards
• Provide information to guests regarding our venue, menu, and pricing
• Be knowledgeable of all table/section numbers in the venue
• Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
• Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers
• Provide customers with information and directions

• Provide a friendly, personal, and a willingness to interact attitude
• Provide professional guest service

• Ability to work safely and prevent personal injury
• Commitment to the safety of fellow co-workers and our guests, and the ability to demonstrate that commitment through daily actions.
• Informs Supervisors of any irregularities, guest complaints or other disputes, which cannot be readily resolved

RESPONSIBILITIES/TEAMWORK/DEPARTMENT

• Assist all other team members as needed
• Create and maintain a sense of urgency
• Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Inform management of any complaints, comments, or incidents
• Present and maintain an attractive, professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Abi Hookah Lounge standards to further the overall theme of the venue

• Must be able to print legibly for guests to read
• Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot and/or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors
• Must be dexterous and able to participate in all service aspects
• Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb, and carry as necessary
• Must be able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs
• Use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon guest volume
