QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Minimum of two years of heavy industrial experience, preferably in metal industries
- Trainable to operate mobile equipment
- Trainable to operate overhead cranes
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to multitask
- In depth MES and HMI knowledge
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Team building attitude and good people skills
- Ability to handle several tasks at a time
- Ability to adjust well to changing job responsibilities
- Works well with a team-oriented work force
- Understanding of quality systems and customer needs
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations in an industrial environment
Preferred
- Four or more years of heavy industrial experience
- Heat treating experience – quench & temper, normalize
- Experience with Microsoft office applications
- Maintenance experience
- Overhead crane operation – in-cab and remote
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy
- AS or BS degree
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.11 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Axis, AL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
