We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to for an open position in Rosepine, Louisiana with supervision and evaluations in DeRidder.
Notes from the Area Manager on the long term care facility (Rosepine Retirement and Rehab):
"Energetic staff in therapy are constantly doing something fun! Seriously of all my site visits, Rosepine has me in stitches and the residents are constantly asking if they can come in the gym - even after they are discharged."
Job responsibilities:
Provides occupational therapy and related services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy and with Synergy Management Solutions guidelines. Provides quality OT including: Evaluation of patients, development of initial and ongoing treatment & discharge plan, supervision of assistants and aides & participates in case management. Represents Synergy Management Solutions’ commitment to quality & service in all interactions with facility. Adheres to all state regulations regarding occupational therapy.
Synergy Care offers the following benefits, 14 days PTO, 3 sick days, medical/dental/vision insurance, long and short term disability, life insurance, 401K with 3% match, jury duty pay and Aflac. Relocation assistance or sign on bonus may be available.
In order to be considered for this position you must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy/Occupational Therapist Assistant or will graduate from such an institution within the next six (6) months. You must hold a valid National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy/Occupational Therapist Assistant (NBCOT) certification and you must currently hold or be eligible for a valid state license (where appropriate) as an Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapist Assistant.
