Our Legacy Care Assisted Living facility is looking FT/PT aides for 6-2 and 11-7
Assist residents in activities of daily living and medication management, if needed, while adhering to facility policies and procedures, and in compliance with federal, state and EOEA regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- C.N.A.s must have accredited certification and valid current license. Home Health Aide’s must have succeeded in completing home health aides program. Must be able to read, write and be fluent with communicating the English language. Must be in good physical, mental and emotional health. Must be able to effectively and amiably communicate with residents, staff, physicians and families as needed.
- Primary and Essential Job Duties: Follow established standards of C.N.A.s / HHAs practice and implements facility policies and procedures. Demonstrate ability to give and receive reports on a daily basis regarding residents. Report any resident problems, staffing issues or safety hazards promptly, execute corrective measures, if able, and notify the nurse on duty as well as the Resident Care Director. Recognize and respond to emergency situations in a calm, organized and effective manner. Provide / assist with all direct resident care, as needed, as stated in resident care plan, which includes (but not limited to) ADLs, feeding, toileting, answering call lights. Assist in distribution of nourishments. Provide prompt response to call lights, alarms and monitors. Comply with all EOEA standards.
