Freelance Photographer/Writer Wanted
The Smith Mountain Eagle, a weekly newspaper that covers the Smith Mountain Lake area, is looking for a freelance correspondent to cover local events, feature stories and county meetings for Bedford County and Franklin County. Must have writing experience and be able to take photos to go along with articles. Knowledge of sports for high school sports coverage is a bonus. The selected individual will be paid as an independent contractor on a per story basis for stories submitted and published. If you enjoy writing and attending local events and meetings, this may be an opportunity for you.
