This position is geared towards a confident, creative, and outgoing leader; who enjoys contributing to an efficient retail operation, offering top-rate customer service, working with high-end products, and achieving sales results.

This individual shows consistency in their day-to-day performance as a team leader for their storefront, staff, and social media presence. The ideal candidate would be detail-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment; all while providing a 5-star customer service experience for our customers.

Required: Prior customer service, management, and sales experience.

Preferred: an interest in fashion and social media engagement.

We offer up to 40 hours of employment: Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm (approximate).

FIFTH-MAIN is looking for an individual with:

  • Interest and understanding of retail / resale
  • Strong management / sales / customer service experience (retail management preferred)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be a team leader to train, develop and manage staff to encourage and retain a professional workspace
  • Legible and neat handwriting; proper spelling and grammar
  • Attention to detail; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to self-manage and multi-task while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of fashion and its terminology
  • Interest in visual merchandising
  • Strong navigation with the cash register, computer/laptop, smartphone, and internet functions; ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Excellent work ethic: goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, and enthusiastic
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Consistently positive attitude/team contributor
  • Well-versed in using social media as a marketing tool
  • Displays original thinking and creativity
  • Knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Ability to create influencing and unique social media content that achieves sales goals

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Opening and closing duties
  • Planning, preparing and executing general day-to-day store operations
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through one-of-a-kind customer service
  • Greeting and assisting customers
  • Increase sales and profitability through customer satisfaction
  • Stocking/Merchandising
  • Handling company inquiries (over the phone & in-person)
  • Processing transactions
  • Supervising retail associates
  • Clean and Maintain proper store appearance and workspaces
  • Completing operational reports
  • Maintaining the social media marketing calendar
  • Generating social media posts through tactics such as copywriting and image/video editing along with being featured on FIFTH-MAIN’s social media platforms
  • Monitoring social media posts, comments, and replies on a regular basis
  • Contributing to marketing strategies that build and promote brand awareness, online visibility, and customer loyalty
  • Developing and executing new, innovative ways to target desired customers
  • Following FIFTH-MAIN’s guidelines and procedures
