Farm Associate Job at Cooks Venture Poultry

Cooks Venture is seeking a Farm 1 Associate to join us in our mission to change the world through food! As part of our start-up team, you'll be a key player in our mission to provide our customers with the highest quality products at the lowest possible costs.
As Farm Associate, you will:
- Monitor feed quality and water supply
- Assist in equipment repair and preventative maintenance in the operation of the farm
- Assist with flock grading
- Load and unload birds as necessary
- Remove mortality as necessary
- Assist with set up and clean out regarding farm operations
- Identify and treat conditions effecting bird health
- Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, buggies, houses, etc. with chemicals, such as detergents and disinfectants
- Comply with Cooks Venture policies and regulations regarding safety, food safety, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, ingredients and any related item
- Perform other projects, initiatives, and tasks as directed by leadership
Qualifications:
Technical Experience:
- Must be able to read and write English
- Previous poultry experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for extended periods of time
