The Maintenance Manager is responsible for successful preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of equipment to achieve maintenance objectives. This role will coordinate with other departmental personnel to attain maximum efficiency and output of production.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
· Plan and coordinate all facilities and maintenance activities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs
· Allocate workload and supervise facilities and maintenance team
· Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
· Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc.)
· Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
· Develop and implement maintenance procedures
· Coach, mentor, train and develop maintenance employees to meet current and future business requirements
· Manage the facilities and maintenance expenses by ensuring best practices in the industry
· Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
· Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
· Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
· Maintenance of capital equipment and inventory, including forecasting, ordering and price negotiation
· Monitor electrical and plumbing systems of facilities to ensure functionality
· Maintenance of facility grounds
· Monitor expenses and budget for facilities & maintenance; including cost reduction measures
· Develop and implement a proactive maintenance strategy
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Degree in business administration, facility management or similar field
· 8-10 years facilities & maintenance experience within a high volume, high quality, automated manufacturing environment
· Ability to manage others
· Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems
· Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Proficient in mechanical and electrical control analysis and repair
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
· Strong organization and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,284.64 - $104,886.60 per year
