ABOUT THE FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE POSITION
The Facilities Maintenance Associate's primary responsibility includes performing all building maintenance tasks per CHC's protocols. Secondary responsibilities include assistance with production floor equipment maintenance.

Located just off route 25 in Monroe, CT, we are centrally located between Danbury and Bridgeport.
Pay and Schedule - $19 per hour. This position is on-site at our Monroe, CT facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Trash removal, sweeping, mopping, bathroom disinfecting/cleaning.
- Office cleaning, including glass cleaning, dusting and vacuuming.
- Monitor cleaning and building supplies. Replenish as needed.
- Maintain cleaning logs.
- Assist with routine maintenance on production equipment.
- Perform building maintenance, including limited outside grounds cleaning, shoveling and salting in winter.
- Assists Compliance and Production managers ensuring company is abiding by OSHA standards.
Skills and Knowledge:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior building maintenance experience
- Light production equipment maintenance experience a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
Physical demands and abilities:
- Standing (with occasional kneeling and bending) required during a typical eight-hour workday.
- Occasionally lifting components up to approximately thirty (30) pounds may be required.
