Electronic Maintenance Technician
Walpole, MA
As the Electronic Maintenance Technician, you will work on large scale CNC machines, troubleshooting control systems to ensure minimal downtime, in support of our military customer. You will be part of a small team of Facilities and Maintenance professionals supporting our Walpole location, partnering with onsite operators and contractors to diagnose and repair equipment. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring high-level productivity across the Walpole site.

Key Accountabilities:
- Proactively identify machine issues and provide preventive maintenance in partnership with machine operators
- Provide reactive maintenance, troubleshooting CNC machines and controls issues (electrical/ electronic, hardware/software) to decrease downtime where possible
- Provide auxiliary equipment maintenance, including air compressors and vacuum units
- Provide test equipment maintenance
- Partner with onsite vendors to oversee and support projects, acting as project liaison between vendor and site leadership
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical repair of CNC machine tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S security clearance
Preferred Requirements:
- Professional attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Strong electrical and mechanical background/understanding
- Familiarity with Siemens controls (840C, D, Operate) & Fanuc
