The Environmental Health & Safety Administrator is a proactive, detail oriented, and conscious planner who can effectively engage winery operations teams in meeting regulatory requirements. Oversees all EHS related permits ensuring that reporting, payment and permit requirements are met on time. Ensures the Management of Change process is followed by coordinating meetings, presenters, providing MOC expertise, and managing MOC workflows. Gather metrics for EHS data analysis, trend identification and operations control. Identify opportunities for improvement in the gathering of these metrics and evaluates the potential for automated solutions
Compensation
- Hiring Range Posted as $27.07/hr - $36.59/hr
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

What You Will Do:
- Coordinating the Management of Change (MOC) meetings and process for Coastal Operations – scheduling board meetings, sending invites, requesting info, preparing presenters, MOC Gensuite management.
- Managing and tracking required Coastal winery permit items: payment, required sampling completion, evaluation of samples, measuring completion on time, elevating issues, reaching out to local agencies to streamline reporting.
- Data collection for monthly Coastal and Corporate EHS reports (KPIs, sustainability metrics, water, injury)
- Continuous improvement in identifying metric trending and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborates with EHS staff to maintain policies and procedures as part of the facility EHS compliance plan.
- Participates in site EHS inspections and supports compliance with applicable EHS regulatory agencies and standards to include OSHA, EPA, CUPA, and Air District.
- Supports the development and implementation of new EHS programs and processes or changes in regulations to include, but not limited to, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Code of Sustainable Winegrowing practices, Hazardous Energy Control, Confined Space, Fall Protection and Process Safety Management as applicable.
- Maintains OSHA recordkeeping requirements for injury/illness and prepares trend analysis for corrective actions using Benchmark/Gensuite platform.

What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of administrative support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associate’s degree plus 1 year of administrative support experience.
- Experience operating standard office equipment to include personal computer.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Cell formatting) at a intermediate level.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Strong verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart:
- High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of administrative support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience organizing, prioritizing and meeting deadlines while working on numerous projects.
- Experience effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
